Entrances Upgrades!
Our project Saturday 8/12 went well and our volunteers decided to reconvene in the afternoon to paint due to Sunday’s weather forecast. We learned a lot about the bulbs in the light posts. There were a mix of bulbs and some of them were for floodlights. We went ahead and replaced all the bulbs.Maybe the new LED bulbs will reduce our electric bill.
The globes are plastic and yellowed with age. Amber and Amy spent a couple of hours and tried 6 different products, but this is as good as it gets!
Some of us walked 12th to 11th, picking up sticks and trash. There are several spots with standing water, so we might want to reconsider our irrigation schedule.
The Jones (12th) and Thomas (11th) households kindly allowed us to use their faucets and water for the pressure washer. We are so grateful to them!
We think this was a pretty good update for 82 bucks!
